New construction offers the opportunity to shape an interior from the ground up. Working closely with your architect and builder, we establish a shared vision early and carry it through the project, from programming and space planning to interior elevations and finish selection.
Our scope includes selecting and specifying fixtures and finishes; developing millwork and custom cabinetry; interior trim and molding; door and window packages; appliances; and switch and lighting plans.

At Kira David Design, we think of design as a collaborative process while understanding that every home is unique. Early in our design process, we explore how our clients live, what they like, and what they can’t stand. We discuss how your family uses space, what your preferences are, your taste, and budget. Every project is custom designed for you and your family’s needs and must-haves.
We believe design should always fit a home and its inhabitants. During our programming phase, we'll ask you to gather inspiration that reflects your taste. This aesthetic roadmap guides our design decisions, leveraging our creativity and design perspective to create a space that's uniquely yours.
A whole home renovation can be taxing. We’re happy to create project phases that consider your lifestyle and budget.

“Having KDD design our first family home was one of the best decisions we made. As first-time homeowners and a young family, we wanted to create a space that felt like us but also had cohesion and warmth to welcome friends and loved ones. Kira is so easy to work with, listens to your ideas, thoughtfully pushes you outside of your comfort zone, and creates a vision that marries professional design with practical living. We were so sad to leave our home sooner than expected, but the KDD design was a huge selling point and helped us get well above the asking price. We can’t wait to start our next project in our (hopefully!) forever home with Kira!” -Courtney G.

“I have worked with Kira David Design through two different home renovations—one was a modern city home and the other is a spacious, more traditional home. They couldn't be more opposite, yet both homes fit our family perfectly. Kira reads the essence of a space and knows what it should be. She is incredible at creating a layout that makes sense. I can barely see one step ahead and Kira can see the vision in its entirety. My husband loves the functionality of Kira's designs, but I love the warmth, texture and beauty in it. I pinch myself that I get to live in a space that works for my life while also being beautiful. Every space is so thoughtfully designed, taking into account everything from my three rambunctious boys to my love of color and pattern. I cannot recommend Kira enough. She can make any space feel warm, inviting and beautiful.” -Lindsay W.
