A true collaborative effort, we work with your architect and builder to establish a vision for your home from the ground up. We guide you through interior programming, space planning, architectural floor plans, and elevations of the interior spaces. This includes: selection and specification of all fixtures and finishes, development of all millwork and custom cabinetry, selection and refinement of all interior trim and moulding, developing door and window packages, appliance specification, refining switch and lighting plans, and more.

It’s an update of an existing home, but a smaller scale project than new construction. Typically kitchens, bathrooms, or entire levels within a home. We work with the contractor of your choice to determine feasibility and rethink layout and flow. From there we design everything within the project scope, from fixtures to finishes in these new spaces.

If you’re not in need of structural changes but want to rethink the design and layout of a number of rooms or the entire home, we work with you to fully reimagine your space. We explore your style, develop a new floor plan, and then select designer-quality furniture made by our trusted trade partners. Yes! We’re happy to travel to design your home. We’ve completed projects from Philadelphia to Florence, Italy and enjoy venturing to new parts of the world for the right project and client.
At Kira David Design, we think of design as a collaborative process while understanding that every home is unique. Early in our design process, we explore how our clients live, what they like, and what they can’t stand. We discuss how your family uses space, what your preferences are, your taste, and budget. Every project is custom designed for you and your family’s needs and must-haves.
Above all, it’s not about our taste, we believe that design should always fit the style of the home and its inhabitants. During our programming phase we ask you to pull inspiration that speaks to your taste and we refer to it as an aesthetic roadmap for your project.
We completely understand. A whole home renovation can be taxing and we’re happy to create project phases that consider your lifestyle and budget.
