Old meets new in this historic graystone nestled in Chicago's Gold Coast. To accommodate a young family’s needs, this property, which was so rich with original millwork, needed some smart design elements to bring it into this century. Custom built-ins, a moody color palette and modern custom furniture pieces created balance. Fearless artwork adds a touch of playfulness and youth to the space, while open shelving offers space to display and tuck away. A variety of textures, from furniture to wallpaper, make the whole home feel warm and lived-in.
